The book describes a romantic novel featuring two main characters, Knox and Diamond Richards. Knox is a former Navy SEAL who has found himself in a dangerous situation after being framed for murder. He needs Diamond's help to prove his innocence, and she is a lawyer who is known for her passionless approach to her work.

As Diamond works to prove Knox's innocence, she finds herself drawn to him in a way that she never expected. Knox is a muscled biker who is able to bring out her passion, even though she usually keeps it hidden behind her designer clothes.

However, their relationship is complicated by the fact that Knox is only interested in Diamond until he no longer needs her help. Once he is free, he plans to walk away. Diamond is aware of this, but she cannot help but be drawn to him despite his flaws.

The novel also features The Last Riders, a group that Knox is associated with, and their sexcapades. Diamond finds it difficult to deal with this aspect of Knox's life, but she comes to realize that there is one woman who is worth fighting for, even if it means giving up his desire for freedom.
