The query I dread is this one.
Because my (not so) meet-cute was, to put it mildly, unexpected. As you do, I was in Beverly Hills looking for someone to take me on as their wife.
He was pacing the block while grumbling under his breath about a failed business transaction.
We ran into each other at that point. In addition, there were none. Not the slightest sign of developing love.
But before I knew it, he had persuaded me to pose as his girlfriend in order for him to salvage the business. I find myself living in a house, attending posh business lunches, and pretending we are deeply in love all of a sudden.
